Hi, my name is Kevin, and my team and I launched The Andressa Academy, the world’s first 100% mobile high school, on August 21, 2023, to make education accessible to anyone worldwide with a cell phone.
IMPORTANT STATISTICS
The following statistics from the UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization), which are relatively unchanged over the past decade, explain the “why” behind the launch of our school:
• 258.4 million children and youth are out of school because they lack accessibility or opportunity right now.
• 60% of youth ages 15 to 17 years old are out of school in Sub-Saharan Africa.
• By 2050, 1 in 3 children in the world will live in Africa.
• We could cut poverty by 55% if all adults completed secondary education (high school).
WHAT DOES 100% MOBILE MEAN?
100% mobile means students can complete every assignment on their cell phones. Of course, they can also use a computer or tablet to access them. Students can now access courses anywhere, anytime!
WHY A SMARTPHONE INSTEAD OF A COMPUTER?
Only 24% of the world’s population has access to a computer and Wi-Fi, but 86% have smartphones. By delivering a high school education directly to their phone, 6.8 billion people will have access to a high school education. So, even if a parent has a phone, their children can access it.
HOW WILL WE DELIVER THEIR EDUCATION?
We have developed our Learning Management System in Learn Dash, and students can access it via The Andressa Academy app, which is available in the Google Play and Apple App stores. Imagine this: One simple app on their phone will give students free access to a world-class high school education.

We have determined that the cost to educate one student is $10 per year. So, for every $10 you donate, you’re changing one person’s life and lifting them out of poverty. How many people can you personally impact?

HOW THE FUNDS WILL BE USED?
We will use the money for the following:
• TECHNOLOGY: Building a secure and scalable infrastructure, including redundant storage systems
• PERSONNEL/STAFFING: Hiring teachers and staff globally (We will hire teachers from where our student populations come from.)
• TRANSLATORS: For The Andressa Academy to be put in 20 languages in 20 years, it will require translators to complete the work.
• VIDEOGRAPHERS AND DESIGNERS: We must hire videographers and designers to create all original content for every course.
• OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE: Covering operational costs, including fuel, vehicle maintenance, insurance, fees, and other expenses for running a mobile high school.
• OUTREACH AND MARKETING: Allocating funds for marketing initiatives to raise awareness about the mobile high school and attract potential students and supporters.
• ADMINISTRATIVE EXPENSES: Budgeting for administrative needs, such as legal fees, permits, licenses, accounting services, and other administrative requirements.
• TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT: Providing ongoing training and professional development opportunities for staff members to enhance their teaching skills and adapt to mobile learning environments.
HOW WILL WE BE ACCOUNTABLE?
The Andressa Academy will release quarterly reports on student enrollment and annual reports on student progress, including graduation rates. We will also provide annual financial accounting and audited statements for the public to view because we believe in accountability.
WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?
We've worked with others globally to build churches, schools, orphanages, and medical clinics for over 30 years. In 2006, we launched an online college that has trained thousands of people globally, with a tuition rate of $50 per month, which was reduced to $20 per month for those from third-world countries. We’ve witnessed the devastation and unthinkable poverty in Africa, Asia, South and Central America, and in other parts of the world.
We’ve used the resources we’ve been given to help others, including our time, talent, and treasures. The Andressa Academy will provide accessibility and opportunity to a high school education that is currently unavailable in our world. We will educate the world by removing financial and logistical barriers with your help.
